Hummingbird Lane has been a journey through life’s many struggles, my Mother loved hummingbirds and after months of dealing with her loss I came to the realization that I can cherish and memorialize her in everything I do. That realization has lead me to change my shoppe to Hummingbird Lane, with fond recollections of times gone by, sitting on the porch watching the hummers fight over which feeder was theirs and listening to their young until it was time for them to journey on, much like the journey my Mother took last October. I look forward to seeing her again, just as she looked forward to the delicate creatures returning each spring.

This site is dedicated to the loving memory of my Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and the many other women in my family that have battled Cancer, some won, some lost! My Mother passed away from cardio-pulmonary arrest, my Grandmother lost her battle with Lymphoma in 1982, my Sister is living with Lymphoma after battling Breast Cancer thanks to recently discovered treatments, she may never be cured but she is enjoying life. I, myself, am a twenty year survivor of Ovarian Cancer.
